Alright, for this blog post I have considered a recently asked IELTS writing task 1 question. In this blog post, you will be able to do three activities.

    2. Identify the key points that were asked in the question
    3. Answer accordingly.

Write to the airline and explain what happened.

Describe your suitcase and tell them what was in it.

Find out what they are going to do about it.

If you have not identified the key points from the questions, then please read them again.

The last three questions or phrases will be the key points. In this case, the key points are:

Actual answer:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to let you know about my lost suitcase. Last week, I went on for a family holiday and was on my way back from Singapore to London. I have got to know that my baggage was missing during transit.

The suitcase make was Gucci and it was in black color. On the left-hand side of the suitcase, I have my name engraved on it and have few customized pins tagged to it. Furthermore, I had some valuables like gold rings, a diamond jewelry set, and some important property documents.

I have already raised a complaint using your customer support team and it is frustrating to see that there is no response at all. It will be of great help if you can take this matter as the highest priority and work towards a resolution.

For your reference, I have listed out my flight details and my personal details so that you can expedite the resolution.

Flight Number: DH100

Complaint Number:  1284959

Passenger Name: Tom Smith

Address: Bulk street, Hamilton Road, London, LCD 098

Your’s Faithfully,

Jay Bana
